The Denia Social Centre is a place for living and meeting open to all the inhabitants of the city. It is a space dedicated to culture, leisure, health and mutual aid. The Denia Social Centre is located at the end of La Vía street, not far from the port area of Denia.
The cultural activities of the Denia Social Centre
The Denia Social Centre offers a wide range of cultural activities for all ages and tastes. Exhibitions, concerts, theatre performances, film screenings and creative workshops are organised throughout the year. These activities are an opportunity for residents to discover new forms of artistic expression and to share their passion with others.
Leisure activities of the Denia Social Centre
The Denia Social Centre also offers leisure activities for all ages. Cooking workshops, sports activities, cultural outings and themed evenings are organised to allow the inhabitants to have fun and relax. These activities are an opportunity to create social links between the inhabitants and to strengthen the sense of belonging to the community.
Health-related activities at the Denia Social Centre
The Denia Social Centre is also a place for prevention and health awareness. Indeed, we can find many workshops such as workshops on nutrition, sessions of adapted physical activities, meetings with health professionals and information sessions on diseases are offered to enable the inhabitants to take care of their health and prevent diseases.
It is also one of the places where the Red Cross organises blood donations.
Mutual aid at the Denia Social Centre
Finally, the Social Centre of Denia is a place of mutual aid where the inhabitants can find support and help in case of need. Social services are organised to help residents with administrative, legal and social matters. Discussion groups and meetings between residents are also offered to enable people in difficulty to feel supported and surrounded. In addition, there is a cafeteria in the Denia social centre, which allows people to meet others and feel less alone.
Opening hours of the Denia Social Centre
The Denia Social Centre opens its doors :
- Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm
- Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm and from 4.30pm to 9pm
- on public holidays from 9.30am to 1pm and from 4pm to 9pm.
In addition, there are certain days during the year when the Denia Social Centre is not open.
