The Las Rotas promenade in Denia starts at the Marineta Casiana beach, located in the southern part of the city, and ends at the Arenetes beach. The Las Rotas promenade, has a distance of almost 3 kilometers along the seashore, being a perfect place for walking, jogging or cycling next to beautiful landscapes offered by the Mediterranean.

Access to the Las Rotas promenade in Denia

Even so, it is possible to access the promenade via other access points, where you can park your car and walk along the promenade. There are also several stops of the Las Rotas Bus line along the road parallel to the promenade. This bus line connects the port of Denia, from the Cervantes esplanade, with the end of Las Rotas, up to the Mena restaurant. The rotation of the bus service is approximately 15 minutes.

However, it is advisable to take water with you if you are going on a walk, as at certain times of the day it is possible that these bars and restaurants may be closed to the public. The Las Rotas promenade has a wide variety of fauna and flora. On the one hand we have the marine fauna, with which Denia has a total of 710 species. On the other hand, we have the ornithological fauna, as the coastal area is home to a great variety of birds. So it is a perfect place to spend your leisure time observing a great variety of living beings, either from the promenade itself or going into the waters to practice snorkeling.

Although there are different and varied streetlights, which provide good luminosity to the promenade of Las Rotas, there are stretches in which the operation of these is not correct or there is no installation at all, so you should take into account and be careful when driving at night. There are also areas with small cliffs with steep rocks. You just have to be careful.
