Mayor Street of Denia

On Mayor Street of Denia, one of the oldest streets in Denia, on May 8, 1844, Roque Chabás Llorens was born. Historian, Member of the Royal Academy of History. He was Archivist of the Cathedral of Valencia. He created the Historical Magazine “The Archive” (1886)

He wrote History of Denia (1886) – The Valencian Mozarabs (1891) – Genesis of Valencian Floral Law (1902).

He died in Denia on April 20, 1912.
